SRINAGAR: A 36-year-old man from Daharmuna village in Budgam district, who had been reported missing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) since October 6, has been traced and is safe, his family has confirmed, according to Greater Kashmir.
Identified as Jamsheed Ali, son of Ali Mohammad Wani, he had informed his wife that he had a flight ticket to return home on October 6. However, when he failed to arrive as expected, his family became concerned about his whereabouts.
According to the report, Jamsheed’s brother contacted the company where he was employed and was reportedly told that he had been absent from work for two days.
His brother subsequently lodged a complaint with Budgam Police and emailed the Indian Embassy, seeking assistance in locating him.
Jamsheed’s brother said he had been stopped by authorities at the embassy during the boarding process over documentation-related issues.
The family later confirmed that Jamsheed had been found safe.
