A youth from Sumbal area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district who went missing on March 4 of this month from Thursday returned to his home in the wee hours of this morning.
The mysterious disappearance of the youth, Riyaz Ahmad professionally a distributor of cellular company had sparked protests in Srinagar’s press enclave as well as in his native village. The protesters who alleged that police was not doing enough to trace him were seeking police help.
According to the KNS, “Riyaz returned home at 11:30 AM of this morning after six days.”
Meanwhile, a top police official said that a police team rushed to his residence and called the said youth for questioning.
