Police have recovered the body of a missing youth of Gatipora village of Kellar town from an orchard in South Kashmir on Tuesday.
Twenty-six years old Farooq Ahmed Lone son of Abdul Kabir of Gatipora village had gone missing on October 17 when he had ventured out from his house.
“Police on Tuesday recovered the body of the youth from an orchard in the village,” said uncle of the deceased.
Talking to CNS Abdul Kabir, father of the deceased said. “My son has been murdered and it is evident from this fact that his body bore torture marks all over his body,” he added.
A police official said that a case vide FIR number 59/2013 under section 302 and 364 of RPC has been registered in this regard and investigation has been started.
