The Srinagar Banihal train service was resumed on Tuesday after remaining suspended for two consecutive days.

“The train service will run on both the segments from today onwards, we had orders from authorities to block the service for security reasons,” a senior railway official said this morning.

Meanwhile, broadband internet and mobile internet service were restored in parts of South Kashmir on Tuesday after remaining suspended for three days following the encounter which broke out between the government forces and militants at CRPF training camp in Lethpora area of district Pulwama on Sunday Morning.

“Mobile internet and Internet services on landline broadband connections were restored after three days,” An official said.
