On the eve of Teacher’s Day on September 5, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will have an interaction and question-answer session with the students of Jammu and Kashmir at Kendriya Vidyalaya Leh through video-conferencing. In this regard, state is gearing up to put necessary arrangements in place.

Pertinently, Jammu & Kashmir is one of the five States across India, which has been selected for interaction between PM Modi and students. Already, Ministry of Human Resources Development has issued a directive to all these five States to make arrangements so that students can watch the Prime Minister’s live address on TV, internet or listen to the same on radio.

Tariq Ali Mir, Director School Education Kashmir, says all CEOs have been asked to meet heads of Government as well as private schools to assemble the students from 2.30 pm to 4.45 pm on that day so that they can view or listen to the PM address.
