Prof. Saifuddin Soz President Pradesh Congress Committee said that because of Narinder Modi’s style of functioning and his ideas based on extreme sectarianism, even BJP’s top brass was feeling threatened.

According to a statement issued to KNS, the BJP top leadership is feeling the growth of a personality cult at the cost of the party itself. Addressing a gathering of intellectuals, drawn from various backgrounds, at Kunjwani Jammu Prof. Soz felt that BJP had started understanding the implications of a strange phenomenon of a personality cult which can endanger the prospect of BJP’s growth in future.

Prof. Soz emphasized the fact that there was no doubt that Modi was hell-bent to build a Hindu Rashtra and he (Prof. Soz) was confident that the secular India would defeat Modi in his design of establishing the basis for Fascism in India.

Prof. Soz also told the gathering that India’s democracy and its secular institutions had become strong and Modi’s sectarian and communal politics would be defeated and he (Modi) can, under no circumstances, make to the Prime Minister ship of India.

He appealed to the gathering to carry the message of togetherness and secularism in India vigorously to the neighborhood and vote for Ghulam Nabi Azad and Madan Lal Sharma and other candidates fielded by NC-INC coalition and make them win with a thumping majority. He emphasized that vote for these INC-NC coalition candidates was defiantly a vote for India’s unity and integrity, communal harmony and togetherness of Indians, irrespective of caste, colour and creed.
