NC-Congress asks its workers to kick start poll activities in South Kashmir

Ruling National Conference (NC) and Congress Saturday urged its workers and activists to gear up for the forthcoming polls in South Kashmir’s Islamabad and ensure a smooth win of NC candidate Dr Mehboob Beg.

According to the KNS correspondent, the NC-Congress coordination meet held at Islamabad on Saturday in which besides all district presidents of both the parties, senior leaders including Peerzada Sayeed, Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Choudhry Mohammad Ramzan and Dr Mehboob Beg participated.

The leaders of the both the parties while addressing their workers urged them to kick start their activities on ground at an earliest. Congress leader and cabinet minister G. A. Mir while talking to KNS said that the Congress has directed its entire cadre in South Kashmir to ensure Dr Beg’s win. “Dr Mehboob Beg has done a tremendous work for the area and has represented people in Parliament. It is for sure that Congress will remain on forefront to register triumph here.”

Dr Mehboob Beg stated that Congress and NC is working in unison for the forthcoming polls and that all the 16 assembly segments have been activated at large in Islamabad. “The activists, workers, block and district presidents are working jointly so that a remarkable win could be registered.”
