Ramzan moon has been sighted in Kashmir, parts of Pakistan and India as well on Wednesday evening.

First day of fasting will be observed on Thursday (May 17, 2018). Faithful will be offering long prayers during this month and will be donating huge amounts to seek Jannah in Aakhirah.

Reports here said that Central Ruehiyet-e-Hilal committee met to witness the moon in Islamabad.

In Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, the crescent was sighted on Tuesday. The month of Ramazan will begin on Thursday, May 17 in the two countries.

Earlier the Australian National Imams Council declared that the holy month of Ramazan will begin on Thursday.
