Mother of Justices Mansoor Ahmad Mir and Mohammad Yaqoob Mir passed away this evening. The deceased was 85.
Justice Mansoor is Chief Justice Himachal Pradesh High Court while Justice Yaqoob is sitting judge J&K High Court.
Family sources told Kashmir Life that the Nimaz-e-Jinazah of the deceased shall be held at their ancestral home in Rajpora, Pulwama.
She was not keeping well for long time now and breathed her last in SKIMS around 7 PM today.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Saturday expressed grief over the sad demise of the mother of Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court, Justice Mansoor Mir and Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir of J&K High Court.
In his message of condolence, Mufti Sayeed expressed solidarity with Justice Mansoor Mir & Justice Yaqoob Mir and prayed to Almighty Allah to give them courage to bear this irreparable loss.
He also prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
