A Motorcyclist met with an accident near Bidder in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kokernag, resulting in his on spot death. He was identified as Mohammad Amin Wani, police said.
After completion of medico legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. Kokernag police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, in Handwara, an unknown Tractor hit and injured a minor boy namely Sabdar Rafeeq, 08 years, son of Rafeeq Ahmad Rather resident of Sharkote at Sharkote Tarathpora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vilgam. The injured boy was shifted to Sub District Hospital Kralpora for treatment. Handwara police has registered a case in this regard.
