A motorcyclist was killed and his pillion mate injured in a road accident in Dialgam village of Islamabad district of southern Kashmir on Thursday.
Official sources said a lorry hit the motorcycle, resulting in on-spot death of the motorcyclist, identified as Faizan Khursheed, son of Khursheed Ahmad Wani, a resident of Wanihama village of district Islamabad.
The injured was identified as Arsalan Nazir, son of Nazir Ahmad from Munghal village of same district, who was later referred to Srinagar hospital for further treatment.
