Three drug peddlers arrested with cannabis in Jammu

Three alleged drug peddlers carrying 1.5 kg of cannabis were arrested in Jammu, police said Thursday.

The police intercepted a car, with three men, during a routine check at Vivekanand Chowk last evening, a police official said.
On checking, around 1.5 kg cannabis was recovered from their possession, the official said.

The arrested men were identified as Abdul Hamid, Mohammad Arif Khan and Yasir Ahmed khan – all from Uri in Baramula district, he said.

A case has been registered in this regard at Jammu city police station, he added.
