SRINAGAR

The Civil Secretariat and other offices affiliated to it are will open on Monday, in Srinagar for next six months.

Officials said that all necessary arrangements for opening of the yearly Durbar in Srinagar have already been completed. Civil Secretariat offices besides Raj Bhawan closed in Jammu on April 25 are scheduled to reopen here on Monday (May 5).

 Meanwhile, most of the employees along with their families who are part of the bi-annual exercise have already reached valley.

A government spokesman said that the move offices in Srinagar will start functioning from 9.30 AM to 5 PM at the Civil Secretariat, while as other departments located outside the Civil Secretariat, will start their work from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Meanwhile, IGP Kashmir A G Mir said: “The security arrangements have already been made in this regard.”
