With the Peoples Democratic Party and Bhartiya Janta party all set to form the government in Jammu and Kashmir, former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad Tuesday said that there was no ideological tussle over Article 370 and AFSPA from PDP with BJP as the real brawl was for the Power and CM’s chair.

In a chat with KNS the Congress stalwart Ghulam Nabi Azad said, “The so-called tussle between BJP and PDP was not about Article 370 or AFSPA but the fact is that PDP is power hungry and was fighting for CM’s Chair and other important Cabinet portfolios,” he said.

He further said: “With the help of the statements PDP issued in media, they were trying to give an impression to the people that they are fighting with BJP over Article 370 and AFSPA which is in reality was farce and gross lie,”.

Azad maintained that the BJP and PDP government will be most dangerous government and one doesn’t know what will be the consequences. “Alliance of PDP and BJP will change political situation of J&K. PDP which till yesterday was against BJP has finally formed an alliance with them,”.

It is also an established fact that People in Kashmir voted for PDP as it claimed that it could stop communal BJP. But now against the secular credentials of the state they (PDP) went with BJP,” he said and added that in coming years whatever happens in J&K PDP will be responsible for it.

He further added that this BJP is not of Vajpayee or Advani’s BJP but it is BJP of Amit Shah who is most communal leader in the country.

“It is the Amit Shah who is the most communal leader in the country and is responsible for spreading hatred in India.
