Peoples Democratic Party Patron Mufti Muhammad Sayeed and President Mehbooba Mufti have expressed grief and shock over the loss of precious lives in two tragic mishaps in Warwan area of Kishtwar and Gulmarg in Baramulla district of Kashmir.
In a statement Sunday, the PDP leaders also expressed concern over the non-preparedness of the government to meet emergent situations in view of the onset of winters and heavy snowfall in the upper reaches.
They said that the government must come out with contingency plan so that no more precious lives are lost to the harsh weather and non-availability of government machinery at the ground level.
