SRINAGAR: Authorities have suspended vehicular movement on Mughal Road following fresh snowfall at Peer Ki Gali on Sunday.
“Following fresh snowfall at Peer Ki Gali which connects Kashmir with Poonch via southern Shopian district, the vehicular movement has been suspended,” said a senior police officer.
The famous tourist destination of Gulmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district also received the fresh snowfall. Reports of very light snowfall was also received from other higher reaches of north Kashmir including at Line of Control (LoC.
However, the met department had predicted dry weather from Monday till October 31.
Meanwhile, Matayan, Minimarg, Zero Point, India Gate, Gumri and Drass area of Ladakh also received snowfall last night.
