All Parties Hurriyat Conference (m) on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) termed the birth of the holy Prophet (SAW) as an event that brought light into a dark world.

In a statement issued here, stressing that the message disseminated and the path shown by Prophet Muhammad (SAW) should be adopted by every Muslim in letter and spirit, the conglomerate said if Muslims follow the true path of the Almighty Allah shown by the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) they would tide over every crisis.

An APHC statement said the Muslim world including Kashmir was engulfed in innumerable political, social and moral problems as people had given up following the true path shown by Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and urged people to both individually and collectively follow the teachings of the holy Prophet (SAW) in every sphere of life for coming out of the web of troubles and tribulations.

The statement said that in connection with the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), Anjuman-e-Awqaf, Jamia Masjid, Srinagar would hold a ‘Majlis-e-Rehmatul Alameen’ on 16th Rabi-ul-Awal 1438 (16 December 2016), Friday at 12 noon in which APHC chairperson Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, veteran resistance leader Syed Ali Geelani, prominent religious leader Moulvi Abbas Ansari, Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairperson Muhammad Yasin Malik, a number of other Ulemas and religious scholars would throw light on the life and times of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and also speak on the ongoing situation.

The APHC statement urged people to participate in the function in large numbers and avail the benefit of learning more about Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and his message to humanity.
