Mukhtar Ahmad Wani was on Monday elected as the President of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Non-Gazetted Employees Union.
The elections in this regard were held in the office of the union on May 24, 2018.
The elections were conducted through a secret ballot and the counting process was completed today.
Besides Wani, Rajeshwar Singh, Naqeeb Jeelani and Abdul Qayoom Bhat were elected Vice President, General Secretary and Secretary respectively.
The elected members assumed the office immediately after the election results were declared.
