In a bone-chilling incident, a man who was missing since August, was found with his head separated from his body in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, police sources said Saturday.
Police sources told GNS that Farooq Ahmad Malkar, son of Muhammad Ismail Malkar, resident of Zurhama in Kupwara, was missing August 15 after he left for his Brother-in-law’s house.
“We recovered his mutilated body in Zurhama forest at 1:00 am last night,” police sources said, adding the investigations have been taken up. “It is not immediately clear who is behind the incident,” they said.
Meanwhile, police sources, while quoting his brother-in-law said, the deceased had left his house.
