MLA Langate Er Rasheed Monday said that his party, AIP, will receive Narendra Modi in Kashmir on 7th November with protests and black flags for various reasons including India’s failure to resolve Kashmir issue.
Terming Chief Minister Mufti Sayeed’s comment as a cruel joke wherein he called PM Modi’s scheduled visit to Kashmir as historic, MLA Langate Er Rasheed condemned him for giving him a clean chit on the issue of communalism.
In a statement issued Monday, Rashid said questioned how the visit could be called as historic and asked CM Mufti to apologize to Kashmiris for “acting as a B team of RSS and Sangh Parivar.”
“Is Modi going to announce India’s willingness to implement UN resolutions on Kashmir, restoration of autonomy, implementation of so-called self-rule formulae or make an unconditional talk offer to Syed Salahu Din?” he asked
“If Modi announces any of these measures in Srinagar, only then can one can call this visit historic.”
“But everybody knows it is not going to happen and the speech will be nothing beyond traditional claims and offers. It is better for Mufti sahab to remain within his limits and apologise his people for acting as B team of RSS and Sangh Parivar,” he added.
Rashid also said that by calling Modi a non-communal person, CM Mufti has hurt sentiments of Muslims all over the world while turning a blind eye towards every atrocity that Modi and his colleagues have been doing in India throughout.
“Nobody can forget Modi’s role in Gujrat and UP massacres of Muslims, growing arrogance and intolerance among the right wing Hindu leaders, demolition of Babri Masjid, cold blooded murder of Sohrabudin , Ikhlaq Ahmad of Dadri, Zahid Rasool of Kashmir and Muslims being even called Haramzadas by the BJP Ministers and how holy book of Sikh’s has been desecrated in Panjab.”
“Let Mufti sahib not forget how Modi’s cabinet colleague VK Singh compares children of Dalit’s with dogs and how Modi government has created a war atmosphere with Pakistan. Even people are scared of cooking dishes of their choice in their kitchens only because of Modi’s fear,” he said.
