A mysterious blast created panic in Lal Chowk area of Srinagar near Ganta Ghar on Friday afternoon.
An eyewitness said that soon after the Friday prayers, a loud bang was heard near Ganta Ghar in Lal Chowk. The blast caused fear and panic among the masses in the area. However, there was no report of any loss of life or injuries.
Delayed reports also suggest that it was actually a grenade lobbed on the CRPF party. Meanwhile, a police party is on the spot to take the cognizance of the incident.
