Three bodies have been recovered so far on Friday at Khardung La Pass, Ladakh, where an avalanche buried at least ten people and rescue operations are still underway.

At least 10 people were reported missing after the truck they were travelling in was hit by an avalanche, the report said.

The vehicle was hit at 7 am, a Border Roads Organisation (BRO), they said.

They added the BRO has pressed into service its men and machinery to rescue the persons believed to be trapped under the snow.
