A forest department quarter suffered a damage on Thursday evening due to the devastating fire incident in Vehil Kachdoora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
An official said that the forest quarter at Vehil Kachdoora suffered a damage due to the accidental fire. The quarter caught fire on mysterious circumstances. Earlier, the renovation work for the quarter was also going on in a day.
Reports said that locals with the help of Fire and Emergency team rushed to the spot and doused off the flames. Meanwhile, Police have also taken the cognizance of the incident and investigations have been taken up.
