A famous shrine at Nowrozbaba village of Khag in Budgam district was completely damaged in a mysterious fire incident that took place shortly after midnight.
Reports said that they rushed to the shrine of Nowroz Baba Reshi (RA) after hearing about the fire incident.
“The fire had broken out in the shrine shortly after midnight. Announcements were being made over the public address system of the mosque and people tried their best to douse the flames,” said a local.
He said the fire and emergency vehicles couldn’t reach the spot in time because of steep topography of the area, located in the foothills of Pir Panchal mountain range.
