SRINAGAR: Nalin Prabhat, a 1992-batch IPS officer, has been appointed as Director General (Operation & Security) for Jammu and Kashmir Police, following an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Wednesday.
This appointment takes immediate effect and will remain in place until 30 September 2024.
Prabhat, a senior officer with a distinguished service record, will oversee crucial operations and security-related matters in Jammu & Kashmir during his tenure.
