Police on Monday claimed that in its drive against the drug peddling recovered large quantity of narcotics and other drugs and arrested 19 accused in south Kashmir’s Islamabad District in past one week.
“The recoveries includes 130 Rexcof & Corex bottles, 150 Tabs Alpanol, Liquor 152 Bottles & 90 Packets, 2.33 Kgs Charas and 19.5 Kgs Bung Powder(Phuki),” police said.
19 persons have been arrested who were found involved in the purchase and supply of contraband substances. All the arrested persons have been booked under relevant sections of law in the concerned Police Stations of District Islamabad.
