SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) has called a Legislature Party meeting of its elected members and Independent legislators supporting the government in Srinagar on September 20.
According to a communication issued by NC Chief Whip Mubarik Gul on September 19, the meeting will begin at 4:30 pm at the Banquet Hall in Srinagar.
NC president Farooq Abdullah will chair the meeting in the presence of Omar Abdullah, Leader of the Legislature Party and Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.
The communication said the meeting would be attended by J&K Legislative Assembly members belonging to the National Conference along with Independent legislators supporting the government.
All concerned legislators have been asked to attend the meeting at the scheduled time and venue.
The notice, bearing reference number MG/M1/621, does not specify an agenda. The meeting is being held ahead of deliberations on legislative and government-related matters.
