In a separate order, the government appointed Pradeep Singh, a retired IAS officer Advisor (Infrastructure Development) to the state government for three years. He was draw salary of a Chief Secretary minus pension. He will advise the government on infra development and flagship central schemes, critical assessment of long-time utility of projects upon which sufficient resources have already been utilized without any desirable outcome; exploring all the possible ways and means of stimulating infrastructural development in the State through Public Private Partnerships (PPP); and working out modalities to attract private sector design, execution and operating efficiencies so as to strengthen and upgrade existing infrastructure.

Mr Singh will operate from Chief Ministers office.
