All Parties Hurriyat Conference (g) Jammu head and National Front chairperson, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Tuesday remembered Farooq Ahmed Bhat on his death anniversary and paid him glowing tributes.

“Shaheed Farooq Ahmed was martyred last year on 9 February at Palhallan, Pattan while demanding the last mortal remains of Shaheed Afzal Guru,” a statement issued by NF said this evening. Khan termed late Farooq Ahmad Bhat as “Shaheed-e-Wafa” saying, “he was among the peaceful protestors who was demanding for the mortal remains of Shaheed Mohammad Afzal Guru.”

“India is committing crimes against humanity from last several decades in Kashmir without being questioned which has made it brutal,” Khan said.

Nayeem Khan condemned the restrictions imposed in the valley today. “Imposing restrictions in valley is brutal act as its not letting the people of Kashmir to express their freedom aspirations which is their self-right.”

He condemned the police arrest of the JKLF Chairperson Mohammad Yasin Malik who has been taken to Central Jail Srinagar with other party leaders. He also condemned house detentions of the other pro-freedom leaders and freedom activists.
