Senior separatist leader and National Front Chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan has written a detailed letter to Pakistan’s newly elected Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif and appealed to include Kashmir’s “pro-freedom” political leadership in the dialogue process so that the Kashmir dispute is resolved according to the wishes of the Kashmiri people.

Khan also appealed Pakistan PM to start a campaign on the ministry of external affairs level to highlight the human rights violations of Kashmir. He also appealed him to take practical steps so that the ongoing reign of killings is stopped in Pakistan.

Nayeem Khan congratulated Nawaz Sharif on being elected as the prime minister of Pakistan for the third time.  “Accept hearty congratulations on my behalf and whole Kashmiris, on being elected as the Prime Minister of Pakistan,” Khan wrote to Nawaz. He added, “Kashmiri people want their pro-freedom leadership be involved in the dialogue process to settle the Kashmir dispute.”

“All the Kashmiris hope that you will stand by the National Policy of Pakistan about Kashmir which has been a great material support for them who are busy in fighting for their political rights from more than last six decades,” Khan wrote in his letter to Pakistan PM.

Expressing concern about the situation of Pakistan, Khan wrote to Nawaz, “We Kashmiris are deeply hurt by the day today killings in Pakistan, our sincere appeal is to start a dialogue process in the country so that the bloody situation is changed and people feel secured.”

Meanwhile, according to a statement  Nayeem Khan has termed the protest sit in on June 18, announced by the Freedom Party Chief, Shabir Ahmad Shah as timely and has decided to take part in it.
