Srinagar: National Conference on Monday strongly condemned the killing of former Sarpanch Fayaz Ahmed of Kakapora, Pulwama who was killed by unidentified gunmen on Monday.
Expressing grief and sorrow over the former Sarpanch’s killing, NC State Spokesperson Junaid Azim Mattu expressed solidarity with the deceased’s family on behalf of the party and demanded the culprits should be brought to justice as soon as possible. The NC Spokesperson also demanded adequate security arrangements be made by the State Government to protect lives of those former Panchayat representatives who have been frequently targeted in such incidents.
