While denying reports, carried in a section of National and local media, about a merger of Awami National Conference (ANC) into National Conference (NC) the party spokesman, on Wednesday said, “Anything of this magnitude would have be discussed and deliberated in the party’s working committee, which is the highest decision making body of the National Conference” adding, “At this point in time the party’s working committee has neither met nor discussed or deliberated upon this issue”.
As such this may be ‘as of now’ considered as ‘mere speculations’ and put to rest, reads the part statement.
