National Conference today asked its cadres to brace up for 2014 Lok Sabha and state assembly polls adding NC will come to serve you again in 2014. “Brace up for 2014, you should announce the victory of our party from south Kashmir teaching PDP a lesson they will learn for all times to com” said Provincial president National Conference Nasir Aslam Wani.
“You should keep this passion and sentiment alive because now the time for the test is coming. This is the time you have to make this party strong as 2014 is the election year. First the Parliament elections, then the state assembly elections,” Wani said addressing a mammoth workers convention at Dak Banglow Islamabad adding “We have to make our party ready so that we win the next elections with good success and take this state forward,” Nasir told workers.
“I have been given the responsibility to hear you, address you , and find out a way to redress your grievances” said Wani adding “Omar Sahib recent changes in the party will infuse new life in to it which will benefit you all “ he added
Nasir said efforts will be made to address the aspirations of party workers, and all the decisions will be taken after your approval. “I know your demand and expectations but I assure you that all the problems will be sorted out and your demands will be fulfilled. No work should happen without party workers” he said “We will go to every nook and corner of the valley and ensure that your problems are addressed on priority.”
Commenting on the contribution of governments in 1996 and onwards from 2009 Nasir said that we have to understand under how difficult situation Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah have been working for a political solution and all the political parties irrespective of different ideologies should appreciate how much they have achieved politically for the state and the subcontinent.
Addressing the gathering MOS IT and Science Technology Feroz Ahmed Khan said, “The NC led government is committed to ensure development of all the regions of the state, we are your representatives and we will ensure that you are masters of your future” said Feroz adding “Omar Sahib has given a new direction to the governance and the party and we will succeed and make this dream come true of a new prosperous state of J&K”
Lashing out at PDP, NC Spokesman said that they have always only played with the sentiments of the people and are still using the youth as fodder for their narrow political gains.
“Today seeing your enthusiasm I feel the last nail in the coffin of PDP has just been put” he said addressing the workers in the PDP’s bastion.
Tanvir added that active participation of youths in major political activities is a welcome step and the youth should come forward and take charge. Tanvir said Chief Minister is keen to encourage the youth to shape their own destiny and young men and woman should come forward and help to rebuild the state.
Asking for the restoration of Autonomy Tanvir said “There is a lot of hostility that one can feel but restoration of autonomy will be the beginning of a tomorrow where both the neighboring countries would be wedded into a common market” said Tanvir.
