National Conference Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani has issued a show-cause notice on behalf of the party to Abdul Rashid Shaheen for issuing baseless and unacceptable statements against the party leadership in the media.
According to a party spokesman, the NC Provincial President said the rank-and-file of the party are united under the able and visionary leadership of Party President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Working President Omar Abdullah and Shaheen’s uttering are figments of his imagination and could be perhaps motivated solely by personal ambitions and interests.
The show-cause notice gives Shaheen a week to respond and clarify his stand, failing which strict disciplinary action will be initiated against him by the party.
