SRINAGAR: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has announced a recruitment drive for the year 2024, offering over 100 vacancies across various positions. The last date to apply is February 5, 2024.
The vacancies include Assistant Foreman in E and T, Mechanical, and Electrical trainee. According to the official notification released by NCL, candidates interested in applying for these positions should have a matriculation or equivalent qualification, along with a three year diploma in the respective engineering fields – Electronics for E and T, Mechanical, and Electrical. The age criteria set by the recruitment board range from a minimum of 18 years to a maximum of 30 years.
Candidates selected for these positions will be paid a monthly salary of up to Rs 47,330.25, ensuring financial stability and growth prospects. It’s important to note that candidates falling under UR, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1000, while candidates from other categories are exempt from this fee.
The training period for the appointed individuals is outlined as one year for Assistant Foreman (E&T) and two years for Assistant Foreman (Mechanical and Electrical), allowing for skill development and on-the-job learning. The selection process, as detailed in the official communication, involves a computer-based test, where candidates must meet minimum cut-off marks to secure their positions.
