Senior National Conference leader and MLA Khanyar Ali Mohammad Sagar entered into a heated brawl with Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh over the latter’s claim of being ‘a proud RSS man’, reports said.
Sagar questioned Nirmal Singh’s right to claim his association with RSS as Deputy Chief Minister that angered Nirmal Singh who stood up and told Sagar that he has made the remark in personal capacity.
However, Sagar told him that as Deputy Chief Minister he is in public domain and linking his association with RSS leaves a deepening effect on institutional working in departments controlled by him.
After a lot of heated exchange, Deputy Speaker Nazir Gurezi pacified both Sagar and Nirmal Singh and restored calm in the house.
