HANDWARA

President Awami Ittihaad Party (AIP) and MLA Langate Er Rashid has termed the silence of GoI over the revelations made by a former Home Ministry Official R V S Mani, that Parliament and Mumbai attacks were carried by the agencies itself for vested interest, as a “criminal and shameful”.

Addressing a protest rally against Gool Killings at Handwara, he said, “though these operations were under the ambits of suspense from the day one but the astonishing facts revealed by the officer should act as an eye opener for the Indians itself.”

“If GoI is sincere in its claims of transparency regarding the issues related to investigations of the matter, it must come clean over the severe charges,” Rashid further said adding “It is obvious that Kashmiris are being treated as worst than animals and who so ever or which so ever agency wants to suck their blood for one reason or the other for vested interest.”

The recent revelations surfacing regarding the formation of his own fake militant group in Pulwama by notorious police sub inspector Shiv, authenticates that from Machill to Doda and from Markandal to Gool, blood is less precious than water for the security agencies. “It is high time that GoI should show some respect towards the very fundamental rights of Kashmiris including their right to live and probe all the encounters which have taken place in suspicious circumstance and most probably have been carried out by the security agencies to gain medals and promotions,” Rashid said.

About the life sentence of two youth from Srinagar, in Calcutta, Rashid said that it is yet another proof that how Kashmiris are being tortured mentally and physically and are being treated like second class citizens by those who claim them to be their ‘Attoot Ang’.

“ GoI owes an explanation and thorough probe not only to people of Kashmir but to Justice loving People living in any part of the earth,” Rashid said adding “It adds to the belief of every Kashmiri who have been crying Afzal Guru’s innocence in the Parliament attack and has brought GoI at a very weak moral wicket over the genuineness of barbaric murder of Afzal Guru. ”

Er Rashid further said that the way police and other security agencies are showing hostile attitude towards the Kashmiris who are mourning innocent deaths of Chinab Valley and are arresting youth all across the state for their alleged involvement in the stone pelting, is highly condemnable and such drastic acts would not stop Kashmiris from raising their voice against “state terrorism.”
