SRINAGAR: The third match of the Kashmir Super League 2024 saw a contested showdown between New JK United FC and Arco United FC end in a goalless draw, as both sides displayed tactical discipline and strong defensive performances at the TRC Turf Ground.

While the scoreboard remained static at 0-0, the match was anything but dull, offering fans a gripping spectacle of competitive football. Both teams fought hard in midfield, created chances and thwarted attacks with resolute defending.
New JK United’s goalkeeper, Nirdosh, emerged as the hero of the evening with several crucial saves that kept his side in contention throughout. For his commanding presence between the posts, he was awarded the Khyber Man of the Match as well as the Golden Save Award.
On the other side, Arco United’s Uneeb was adjudged the Game Changer of the Match for his impressive midfield play, intelligent distribution and ability to dictate the tempo of the game.
The post-match awards ceremony was attended by prominent dignitaries including Showkat Ahmed Mir and Arsalan from Khyber Cement, Mohammad Yousuf Wani, Chairman of Green Valley Educational Institute, and Bashir Ahmad Malik, President of the District Football Association Srinagar.
Despite the lack of goals, the match served as a testament to the growing competitive standards of football in the Valley.
