Condemning the issuance of notice to Qayoom, Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) has termed the NIA probe a ploy and said the NIA has become a tool of the RSS to harass and muzzle the civil society faces of Kashmir.

“First it was an attack on the economy when some of the leading businessmen were unduly harassed by the NIA through the so called raids and now the other prominent faces of Kashmiri society are being harassed,” said KEA chairman Muhammad Yasin Khan.

o be silent. “Till now the PDP has been silent over the NIA raids though this operation is a conspiracy to muzzle the voice of people of Kashmir,” he said.

The KEA has extended full support to the bar association over the issue.
