SRINAGAR: National Insurance Company Limited invites applications for recruitment of 274 Administrative Officers (Generalists and Specialists). Candidates should apply through online mode only. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The registration process will start January 2, 2024 and the last day of application is January 22, 2024.
The vacancies of Specialists include 28 posts of Doctors, 20 posts in Legal, 30 posts in Finance, two posts in Actuarial, 20 posts in Information Technology, 20 posts of Automobile Engineers, 22 posts of Hindi (Rajbhasha) officers. There are 130 posts vacant for Generalists and two backlog posts.
Candidates can apply for any one discipline only. The selection will be made through online examination. Written examination in two phases viz. preliminary and main will be conducted. The dates for the same will be notified later. There is reservation for candidates belonging to special categories. A candidate appointed in the Officers’ cadre on regular pay rolls of the Company shall be on probation for a period of one year from the date of joining the duty. The probation period may be extended twice by a further period of six months at a time stretching up to one year. Before joining as probationer, the selected candidates will be required to give an undertaking to serve the Company for a minimum period of four years including probation period.
The applicants should either be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
The starting Basic pay would be Rs 50,925 /- and such other allowances as may be admissible under the rules in force from time to time in the company. Total emoluments will be approximately Rs. 85,000/- per month in Metropolitan Centres. The minimum qualification for each discipline varies. Applicants must be between 21 years and 30 years of age.
