Usually the practice in vogue that September 30 being half yearly closing for banks was a holiday, this year it is not.
According to officials of Jammu and Kashmir Bank Ltd, September 30 would be normal working day and routine business would be carried at business units levels.
“There is no bank holiday on September 30, unlike previous years,” the official said.
