Citing non availability of funds as the reason for non payment of salaries regularly to the teachers appointed under RMSA/SSA, the government on Monday said that it has already taken the issue regarding release of funds with Government of India.
In response to a question of Jadish Raj Sapolia in the legislative assembly, government said that as per the budget estimates for the year 2014-14, requirement under the head salary of SSA is Rs 1146.94 crores.
Against the said requirement, only Rs 282.35 crores has been released due to non availability of funds.
