After PDP president Mehbooba Mufti expressed her reluctance of taking oath of office and secrecy for taking over reins of J&K, top sources Friday evening said that “the new government shall be formed only after Monday”.
Ram Madhav, BJP’s Secretary general, flew to Srinagar this afternoon and held a ‘one-to-one’ meeting with Mehbooba Mufti at her Fairview residence.
Madhav also held a meeting with state’s BJP lawmakers and other party functionaries at Circuit House here.
“It has been decided that the new government will be formed only after Monday,” sources said.
Now, it is imminent that governor shall be taking charge of the state affairs.
Mehbooba, PDP insiders said, is in deep shock and “nobody dares to talk to her about the issue”.
