Spokesman of Hurriyat Conference led by Syed Ali Geelani, Ayaz Akbar while denouncing the rumours of strike call, said that people must not pay heed to rumours.
In a statement issued to media, Akbar is quoted to have said “we have not called for any shutdown.”
“Such announcement are made by resistance leadership & as such people will be informed through media,” he added.
