Normal life resumed across Kashmir on Saturday after a day-long strike call given by Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) against the slapping of PSA on JKLF chief Muhammad Yasin Malik, Jama’at ban, and mass arrests.

All the shops and other business establishments reopened today morning and traffic is seen plying on the roads. The shutdown call was given by the JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Muhammad Yasin Malik and Mohammad Umar Farooq against the slapping of PSA on JKLF chief Muhammad Yasin Malik, Jama’at ban, and mass arrests in Kashmir.

Meanwhile, the Srinagar-Banihal train service was resumed today after the day-long closure due to the security reasons in the valley.
