Normal life resumed in Kashmir on Tuesday after a daylong shutdown due to the call by Joint Resistance Leadership against the civilian killings all over the state.

All the shops, commercial establishments, government and private reopened today all over the state. The public and private transport were also back on the roads and there were no restrictions on civilian movement.

All the educational institutions opened across the Kashmir Valley after remaining shut for the day following the shutdown call.
