SRINAGAR: A fire broke out on Thursday in the Bakhaiya area of Karnah in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, completely destroying two residential houses.
Reports said that, local police and fire service teams rushed to the spot and are currently engaged in firefighting operations to bring the blaze under control.
No casualties have been reported so far, while the cause of the fire is being investigated.
Authorities have urged locals to maintain caution in the affected area. (KNC)
