SRINAGAR: Police conducted searches at multiple locations in north Kashmir’s Sopore area of Baramulla district on Sunday as part of an investigation into a terror-related case, officials said.
The searches were carried out in more than 20 residential houses linked to individuals associated with the banned Jamaat-e-Islami, officials said.
According to officials, the operation is part of a probe into a case registered by Sopore Police under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
