SRINAGAR: Police in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday issued an advisory urging tourists and visitors to report any instances of overcharging, harassment or other malpractices in the Tangmarg-Kunzer-Gulmarg area.
The police cautioned tourists against being forced to change vehicles at Tangmarg, Kunzer or Gulmarg on the pretext that only local vehicles are allowed to operate there. Visitors were also asked to report if they were stopped from travelling in their own vehicles while heading towards Gulmarg.
Tourists have further been advised to inform police if any service provider overcharges or harasses them.
