SRINAGAR: Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Pratik Sharma on Thursday reviewed the security situation and operational preparedness of troops deployed in south Kashmir and directed them to remain proactive and mission-ready.
During his visit, Sharma was briefed on the evolving security dynamics, operational challenges and measures being taken to strengthen the security grid, the Army’s Northern Command said in a post on X.
The discussions also focused on the integration of technology to enhance surveillance, intelligence gathering and operational awareness, enabling a swift response to emerging threats.

Interacting with the troops, the Army commander commended them for their professionalism, high morale and indomitable spirit.
He exhorted the personnel to remain proactive, adaptive and mission-ready to sustain operational dominance, the Northern Command said.
